And I find it amusing that actor Viggo Mortensen is in this movie and there is a scene in the trailer reminicent of LotR’s Bridge of Khazad-dum.

Viggo Mortensen isn't in Clash of the Titans.

Nope, but another Danish actor is, Mads Mikkelsen - I think that's where the mix up is. He can have the same scruffy appearance (he played Tristan in King Arthur).

It's too bad, Viggo isn't in it. He's a great actor, but Mads Mikkelson isn't bad either. He was one of the few good things about King Arthur.

Well when the movie is made by the Director of Gladiator and stars the star of Gladiator, what other conclusion is there? It would be like if George Lucas made a new space opera starring Harrison Ford and Mark Hammill.
