Advertising in Mods

GM Discussion

Josh, is it really, truly necessary for us to have two pages of advertising in PSS modules. Pretty much all of us already have the rules, and while I can see you guys wanting us to buy Yetisburg, only one person per module sale is going to ever see the ad. Now, while I know I can set it to print out skipping the advertising pages, it still seems unnecessary, and to be frank, a waste of Paizo's advertising budget.

1. It costs us nothing to put the ads there.

2. We will continue to use those pages for advertising.

Liberty's Edge 1/5

I could care less about the ads and I appreciate Josh's honesty on why they will stay in. Then how about this - A one page ad summary of new products that may appeal to the Pathfinder Society players that is maybe updated once per quarter on the scenarios. Then I can give this away to the players and maybe they will be tempted to buy more product. They could see a few upcoming items and a few key items that may be of interest - Maybe not the rule book, but Seeker of Secrets and some of the Chronicles and other cool products. Maybe swipe a page or two from your catalog and copy it to thye scenario's? Just a thought.

And certainly something to consider, but not anywhere near a priority. It's a good idea.

Sovereign Court 2/5

Pathfinder Battles Case Subscriber; Pathfinder Maps, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Maps, Starfinder Roleplaying Game, Starfinder Society Subscriber; Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Charter Superscriber

I've got to agree with the OP. It's not a problem or anything, I just think you guys could get more bang for your advertising space with something else. Great idea on the upcoming product list.
