I know, everybody's too busy working on their wondrous item to post right now... but welcome!

(The answer is probably "wait a few minutes as the servers get in sync," but there's a chance there really is a busted link somewhere....)
Why thank you for your kind welcome. It's good to be here. :)
Awesome. I've been champing at the bit for this year's competition. Now I just have to start crunching.
Good luck to one and all!
Here we go again....if I wasn't so busy with finishing up my NaNoWriMo, I might give this a try...that, and I suck at writing adventures. Good luck to everyone else!
Three's a charm right? Let's hope I have better ideas this time.
AND THEY'RE OFF.....good luck everyone.
Here's the link to the subforums for the 2008 and 2009 RPG Superstar archives. (Select link, then scroll down.)
Good luck to everyone trying out this year!
Good luck, folks. I look forward to reading all of your brilliant offerings.
I'm not sure if anyone's noticed yet, but this year contestants get 300 words to define their wondrous item. It was only 200 words the previous two years. So, there should be lots more room to get creative.

I have just posted a feedback thread for once the last 32 have been announced... *Link*
Work it, entrants, work it! I expect such items of sufficient wonderment and dazzling writing that it will make me say "Use me in your campaign NOW!" Now get to it...or no cookies!
Awesome! Rock this year out, contestants! I look forward to reading some good stuff.
*Giggles in a slightly maniacal kind of way*
Good luck to all of the entrants! :)
Is the RPG Superstar 2010 logo available under the Community Use Policy?
What great timing, I was just thinking about a bunch of awesome coin items! :)
Good luck, everyone!

Good luck everyone :)
And now I need to convince at least one of my friends to give it a shot this year. Namely the person who introduced me to D&D in the first place.
Great, should be a lot of fun.

I'm pushing my college DM, with whom I've played more hours than any other single human alive, to join in this year.

BTW, are you doing anyting for this, Lilith? If so, then I know that whatever you submit will be amazing!

With this, as with most kinds of writing, economy is a virtue, and the successful streamlined items of the last 2 years prove that you don't need more than 200 words to produce a wondrous item of professional quality.
Sorry to see that Wolf won't be an official this year. Hopefully he will be around as a community member.
Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy!
This is going to be so much fun!
I'd guessed the fifth, but glad to see it has arrived!
Hopefully I will increase my ranking as much as last year.
good luck everyone,
Wonderousitems Activate!
Oh, sweet! I'm excited for all the entrants! There's nothing in the world like RPG Superstar!
Clinton Boomer wrote: Oh, sweet! I'm excited for all the entrants! There's nothing in the world like RPG Superstar! Are you helping judge this years contest, Boomer?
Glad to see RPG Superstar returns for 2010!
This is a uniquely phenomenal event and I highly encourage all able-fingered gamers to get typing and send in their submissions.
Good luck to all!
FYI, we changed the word limit to 300 for a reason, but you won't see why until a later round.
And to prevent the list of R1 judges from growing longer and longer each year, we've only called back the previous year's Top 4 to comment on this year's R1 entries.
Boomer and the others are, of course, free to comment as part of the open debate. :)
Geez, it's that time of year again?!?
How the time has flown this year!
Good luck to those who enter!
Kicks tires, lights fires
Let's do this thing!

Can't write an adventure to save my life(I usually wing, and I can't make maps), but that's no reason not to make an item...
Here's hoping. Good luck to everyone.
Are wondrous items for the four new base-classes allowed?
Dryder wrote: Are wondrous items for the four new base-classes allowed? Ooohhh. Good idea.
*awaits Yes or No*
This was an incredibly fun event last year. I can't wait to see what people come up with this time around. Good luck!

They'd better be!
** goes back to scribbling ***
Drat, was that 297 words or 298?
