the small northern british city I live in, half-way between Manchester and Blackpool. slightly depressed former mill-town thats only kept alive by its HUGE university. Kenny Baker lives here (just round the corner from me) and he gets very angry if people shout "R2D2" at him.

Ted Robbins:

northern british middle-aged overweight comedian. does a lot of warm-up on TV. very end-of-the-peir, working mens club in his style. his sister is an impressionist
