DirecTV's Spade-Farley ad criticized as in poor taste
I do not really see it. I liked Chris. I think this bit was one of his less funny scenes. However, it is not like they use his image to do something he did not actually do.
I also disagree with David. I do not see it as an homage. You needed the money. Just be honest about it.
They didn't change any part of Farley's part so other than using a dead man to sell a product I don't see any offense.
If they had CGIed Farley selling DirecTV then I would be offended.
That would be a lot of sand.
