Can a knight charge 90 feet with his lance at the ready, hit a rider and get his warhorse to have a kick out too?

What about if the target is another rider? I am having a hard time visualising how and if this is possible, even if it is in the rules.

I suppose a knight's charge would trample over infantry after his lance strikes. What do you rules maestro's think?

Cheers

Yes, both the mount and the rider can make attacks at the end of the mount's charge movement. Read the Mounted Combat section of the Combat page in the PRD for more details. :']

The feat Mounted Combat is also of special relevance for if a rider is the target of an attack; this will clear up what to do when two mounted riders face eachother.

Regarding running over pedestrians (heh), the mount can try to Overrun as normal. But see also the Trample feat for how to make it worse for the pedestrians. >8']

The key thing about mounted combat is to realize that the mount and the rider are just ordinary creatures that can mostly do as they please with the usual action types in a round.

I would not think that a mount could charge headlong into another mounted rider and hit the rider. It's just too hard to hit, and also it would require the mount to get on two feet.

How I would rule it is the rider can hit either the mount or the rider during a charge. However, the horse only gets to 'kick' the other mount, basically because of what is required to execute the action.

They are well able to get on two feet. I've been on one when it was doing so, quite an experience. My uncle thought it would be a good idea to ride a four-wheeler right by his horse the third time I ever rode one. I got a nat 20 on my ride check though :) yah for no broken bones.
