Rust (Su) A rust monster's antennae are a primary touch attack that causes any metal object they touch to swiftly rust and corrode. The object touched takes half its maximum hp in damage and gains the broken condition—a second hit destroys the item. A rust monster never provokes attacks of opportunity by attempting to strike a weapon with its antennae. Against creatures made of metal, a rust monster's antennae deal 3d6+5 points of damage. An attended object, any magic object, or a metal creature can attempt a DC 15 Reflex save to negate this effect. The save DC is Constitution-based.

The way I read it it takes two hits to completely destroy the item, I assume you rolled the reflex save, and just didn't show it?

Annie moves to N-6, up against the wall. This places her perfectly to hit all her allies (except the two by the chief) and none of her enemies. If an enemy switches position such that he is inside the radius of the healing, she can exclude two people from the healing.

Looks like I was using the 3.5 stats; what actually happened was that streaks of rust started spreading over Dgrims shield (it takes half its max hit points in damage [DR does not apply], and gains the broken condition.) Another hit would surely destroy it.

Ghirrak backflips away from Chief Lorpth to land behind Chunkus, landing a powerful kick for 10. Only the Chiefs having to pull his greatclub from the wall saves Ghirrak from a devastating attack of opportunity.

If he is able to move and moves before her turn, she can move 40 ft. as a move action and still cast. She is most concerned with being able to cast the cure spell without having to cast defensively. If she must provoke an attack of opportunity from anyone, she will attempt to use her Adoration domain power to avoid the first blow. The enemy must make a will save (DC 16) in order to attack her (it is like a Sanctuary effect).

If she provokes, the first attacker must make a Will Save, DC 16, in order to attack her - she will user her Adoration domain power to avoid the attack (an effect like sanctuary).

With a growl of unbridled hatred, Ghirrak lunges towards the barbarian Chief and engages him in a Grapple. The Chief burbles with frustration.

Dgrim desperately tries to take down the chief, but just can’t quite hit him, even hampered as he is by the grapple.

BRYSON_____________________
Bryson-cat bites at red 9 before moving to M14 to help take down the chief. He misses badly, and as he moves, the Bullywug takes a parting shot, but misses also.

SPINNAKER JON______________
Turns his head and goes over to the banister over the stairs. He hums a tune and gestures, and the sound of Bullywugs slipping and tumbling down the grand stairway howling in anguish.
”Pick up the pace ladies, they got more of ‘em tryin’ to reinforce!”

A little dazed, picks herself up and lunges at the Chief flanking with Bryson-cat, but misses.

Muscles bulging, the Chief barely breaks free of Ghirrak’s vice like grip.

Snarling, Ghirrak flurries another series of blows, but the Chief dodges all but the last, cracking him on the chin for 4 damage.

Dgrim keeps fighting, landing a hit on the Chief for 9 damage.

BRYSON_____________________
Bryson-cat's frustration is mounting. He unleashes his primal fury upon the bullywog chief biting and slashing him for 10 damage.

SPINNAKER JON______________
Does something you can’t see, but produces a lot of screaming downstairs.

LAVINIA____________________
Makes a desperate lunge, and lands a hit for two damage. The Chief staggers.

TOLIN______________________
Tolin stumbles forward and hacks down Red-9 from behind.

BINDLPLOTZ________________
Bindlplotz realizes the futility in the trip attempt and steps closer to Lavinia, then as the Chief raises his greatclub for another powerattack/cleave, attacks with the hook hammer twice! He slams the Chief right in the kneecap, and the Chief goes down.

With the death of the Chief, the rest of the Bullywugs break and flee to the basement, where they had dug their way in through the sewer lines. (That's where the muddy footprints came from.)

Lavinia collapses into Ghirrak's arms with deep wracking sobs.
"They... came into my home...killed Kora..."

You eventually find Kaskus where he had fled into the secret armoury, but bled unconscious and nearly dead. He eventually makes a full recovery.

Kora is interred in the family plot with full ceremony; besides Lavinia's heroes, many in the halfling community attend.

Lavinia no longer concealed her "relationship" with Ghirrak to the public. Gossips are driven into a frenzy and her reputation with the nobility suffers. The arena gladiators dedicate a championship belt to her.

Spinnaker Jon plans an expedition to claim the undamaged ship in Krakens Cove as salvage. He tries to interest his companions to chip in as co-owners.

[Bryson Deepwinter]

Bryson stands by Lavinia during her grieving. Her detractors quickly learn not to allow him to hear them.

Bryson will go with Jon to get the ship, but he won't be of much real use.

He'll continue to see after the grounds of Lavinia's manor. He spends his free time close to Annie. He still won't tell her about his feelings, as if she doesn't know. He generally stays in cat form. People will think she has a protective pet leopard as well as a jealous boyfriend.
