Cannot view .pdf Thumbsnails with Acrobat Reader in Vista...

First, anyone else have this problem? All I get is the Adobe Icon in place of a thumbnail view of the 1st page of the .pdf.

Second, if so, have you found a way to fix this headache ... and how?

This is fracking ridiculous.
