(I don't even know whether this belongs in "Website Feedback" or "Off-Topic Discussions".)
What are some of the funniest things you remember seeing on this website? It needn't necessarily be on the messageboards. It could also be in the store blog, in product descriptions, or wherever. And if you can't remember where you found it, or you don't have time to find the page, or if for whatever other reason you don't provide a link or direct quote, then just describe the joke well enough to be funny.
Of course, there have been many "joke" threads, such as:
FUNNIEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU ON A GAME SESSION.
I NEED YOUR BAD JOKES!
ANY GOOD FRPG JOKES OUT THERE?
STUPIDEST/FUNNIEST THING TO HAPPEN IN A GAME?
...and so on. A lot of you might feel the funniest moments were in a thread like those (and if you do, say so, and specify which joke!) But the funniest thing *I* remember was in the topic:
HELP WITH PC BUYING A BROTHEL, PLEASE!
...in which Callum asked how to handle a house of ill repute in a game. While this got many serious answers, Kevin Andrew Murphy posted this answer.
I mean, the guy talks as though he had been considering this for some time, and researched the idea! A radish! Classic! Priceless! Months later, I'm still smirking! As soon as I read that, I knew I had to start a thread like this one.
No, there was a funnier post than that.
There was once a Middle East political thread that descended into a lot of flaming, trolling, and name-calling, which ultimately led to the thread getting shut down. But before it got shut down, someone joked that Israel was Lawful Neutral. And right here, Paul Watson piped up
Please don't bring alignment into this. We're trying not to get too heated and controversial.
I laughed out loud at that one.
Ah, who am I kidding? This post is just a transparent excuse to bump my own thread now that the messageboards are more accessible again (I hope).
