Q about Falcon's Hollow between D1.5 and D4 modules

Hi,

I've just read through the D0, D1, D1.5, and D4 modules. It will be great fun running my players through them.

I noticed something odd at the start of D4 regarding the town stats.

Is there any reason why 985 people suddenly leave town in the couple of days during D1.5? Is this a typo or have the majority of Falcon's Hollow decided to move somewhere nicer?

Naw, most of them get slaughtered in a Carnival or something....

Might have to grab that module and read the events and see if I'm going to include the module or just focus on D0, D1, D1.5, and D4.

You don't need Carnival to run the rest of them. Actually I suspect the numbers are different as I'd originally set D4 not in Falcon's Hollow, but in a smaller town and it flipped back in the editorial phase. The population, might not have gotten flipped. I just think the Carnival makes a great excuse, and besides nobodies going to cry over anyone dying in Falcon's Hollow. They're all a bunch of creeps.

Yes, but you really WANT that carnival to run for your campaign. It's OUTSTANDING. Your players will never forgive you.

Definitely creepy. Gonna throw 'em at D4 then follow up with E1. The players are 'not feeling it' in Falcon's Hollow, so ending it with

a little scorched earth(frozen solid)/near total town kill would be memorable. of course, some players will pout about the 'failure'.

Then we'll reset the campaign and do Legacy of Fire. ;)
