How to deselect an event

When the open event signup comes online in a few hours will we be able to deselect an event we are currently signed up for. I accidently got signed up for a Tier 7 PFS game for which I dont have a high enough level character to play in.

Yes, you can un-check events during the open signup phase.

On a similar note, if I have a lvl 6 PC, can I play up into a tier 7-11 scenario? Assuming I don't lower the APL to below 7?

So long as you play up into the lowest tier, you should be fine.
