Elf Avenger/Zealous Assassin/Harbringer of Doom 23

OA: 1d20+28=37, 2d12+12=24

"You cannot escape your punishment." Theren charges after the giant and slashes into him, then stabs him again.

Charging at him, ending in U18. 1d20+30=42, 2d12+24=38, 1d6=1, for 39 damage, spending the compensation action point to use Light of The Avenging Sun: 1d20+29=40, 2d12+12=27, 1d6=4, for 31 Radiant damage and -4 to hit me. Note: I just remembered Prime Hunter gave me +1 if I'm the only person adjacent to the person I'm attacking.

OA missed.

In a blur of movement, Theren charges the titan, refusing to let his chosen foe escape. A figure of pure, vengeful rage, he attacks without pity, seeking weak points in the plate armoured giant.

"You and all your friends will fall. You will be consumed by our master." Despite its injuries, the titan sounds very sure.

Of those, blows 5, 7 and 8 hit. Total 167, halved for insubstantial, so total of 83 damage to the phane. Please confirm position for me. I wasn't sure where you wanted to end up.

It seems as if the very stones themselves rebel against the otherworldly abominations as Genryu teleports next to the phane and swings relentlessly at it.

Lavender casually moves across the bridge, lining up his shot on the titan. Twice, force missiles pelt the giant, some of them penetrating its defenses.

MM vs T x2 (1d20+23=34, 4d4+12+3=25, 1d20+23=43, 4d4+12+3=24)
Memory on MM1 (1d6=3) Magic Missile; 34 vs Ref (37 if it makes a difference for 25); Action Point, CRIT for 55. Crit damage on MM2 (16+12+3+5d6=55)

Lavender, Memory un-used as 37 isn't good enough. The crit clearly does hit though.

Lavender's attacks continue to keep pressure on the titan. The phane touches Genryu with an insubstantial finger draining his years and slowing the warden, even as it shifts away from him.
Temporal Touch(Ref) v Genryu. Phane shift 4 before or after the attack. (1d20+29=40, 2d8+10=15). 15hp damage to Genryu and he is slowed (se)

(CRIT: 40+ 5d6Crit Bonus (5d6=19))

Lam, please save v weakened condition. You did fantastic amounts of damage, but all halved.

Even in his weakened state, the paladin does further horrific damage to the titan.

The giant sucks dry two more souls from its shroud however and continues to fight on. Pure necrotic energy expands around the titan, sucking at Lam, Lurean and Theren. With an evil laugh, the titan finds inner strength from somewhere and attacks again.

Used two souls from its shroud to regain 40hp.
Soulfire Burst (Ref) close burst one. Necrotic damage. v Lurean, Lam, Theren (1d20+26=38, 1d20+26=38, 1d20+26=33). Hits all of Lurean, Lam and Theren.

Elf Avenger/Zealous Assassin/Harbringer of Doom 23

If I'm looking at this right, those two attacks don't actually hit once you include the -4 to hit.

Theren slashes into the giant with divine fervor.

Using Ready The Final Blow(Immobilized until end of my next turn and +8 to my next attack), then two basic attacks as minor actions. (1d20+28=44, 2d12+15=34), (1d20+36=51, 2d12+15=24), (1d20+28=36, 2d12+15=31)

Blast. Of course you're right. Please restore 34hp. Stupid titan didn't save v the ongoing radiant either.

Spoiler:
I'm really coming to hate these supposedly big hitting monsters. They do so little damage and take forever to kill. I'm going to do something about that, to spice up the combats a little I think.

Theren brings vengeance ever closer as his fullblade slams once more into the titan. The giant is looking close to death now and fights in grim silence, desperately parrying blows.

Male Eladrin Warlord 22/Paragon Swordmage/Ruler of Winter Epic Destiny

"Theren! Bring him down! Now!"

Free: Spend special encouter action point
Stand from AP: Commander's Strike on Theren. Theren makes melee basic attack w/ +6 to damage.
Minor: Guileful Switch on Theren (stand & move action left) - you and one ally can see switch places in the initiative order. Your turn ends when you use this power, and the ally takes his/her next turn immediately, even if s/he has already acted during this round. You then act when your ally would have acted.

Elf Avenger/Zealous Assassin/Harbringer of Doom 23

Theren does as he is told.

Basic attack, and using my new turn to make another basic attack. My luck, it really comes in waves. 46 damage (forgot the 1d6=1), 20 Ongoing damage, 1d20+28=38, 2d12+12=25, 1d6=6, for 34 damage if it hit. EDIT: Forgot the +3 damage.

Lurean's call allows Theren to wreck the vengeance he has been seeking.

A thud fit to break the world fills the air as Theren's fullblade brings down the titan. Even as the body lands, the soul shroud breaks free and the tragic victims of the titan fly upwards, called at last to their long home with the Raven Queen.

Now only the phane floats tauntingly between you and the seal you must break to retrieve the Sun's Sliver.

Erf. I'm not sure you can use LoF at all if the target isn't in range. Well, you can, but it's going to hit nothing. If not, you can keep the roll until your next turn when you can get into range.

Damage = 21

Genryu gets the +2 power bouns until the end of Tavar's next turn

Genryu didn't attack, so no power bonus needed.

Tavar sprints across the icy ground sending divine light lancing towards the phane. The creature's reflexes are eerily good however. It is as though the beast is moving through time to avoid the attack and the divine light hits the ground just in front of it, doing no harm.

Lavender's missiles have no effect and the phane shifts slightly so that it nestles cosily between Theren, Genryu and Lurean.

"Ashes to ashes and years to years," it croons sweetly, reaching out to all three in an embracing circle. Ice forms at its feet as the earlier attack from Lurean hits back.
