HK-22 will then move toward an exit and ready itself to move out.
Stealth and Perception Checks: 1d20+2=3, 1d20+8=23
While HK-22 seems to be well aware of his surroundings, as he begins to sneak down the ramp and out of the ship, he manages to bang into nearly every metallic surface, and even accidentally turns on a floodlight as he walks out . . .

Aruuna Irdrall |
Aruuna would have offered the use of her holocommlink, but seeing Groodar hook into the commsystem, she doesn't.
'Do we have the ability to even move their hyperdrive to our ship, let alone put it in and fix all the hull breeches we have? I don't imagine that we could do that with anything less then a drydock.. but then again, I don't know much about fixing things. Breaking them, on the other hand..'

Groodar Greepbar |

Basic: "Groodar is skilled in marksmanship from his youngling days of the hunt and was known to have a keen eye before......"
Groodar stops his speech suddenly.
Basic: "Perhaps Groodar would be better off with a weapon dealing ion damage so any droids that are disabled can be reprogrammed after?"

Basic: "Perhaps Groodar would be better off with a weapon dealing ion damage so any droids that are disabled can be reprogrammed after?"
"That could work."

Ceelell Bendon |

Nodding his head slightly, Ceelell draws his heavy blaster pistol, shifting it to the ion setting and offering it forward. "I'll need a different weapon, but I have no problem with a better shot using my gear."
The verpine modification on the blaster lets it have an ion setting. Takes a swift action to switch to it, just like with stun mode. All of them do 3d8 damage.

Groodar Greepbar |

Groodar thanks Ceelell for the lending of his weapon and then attempts to twirl the blaster in his suction-tipped finger before placing it in his hip holster.
Deception check to twirl heavy blaster in finger and look impressive. (1d20+1=12)
Conversion docs say Sleight of Hand was replaced by Deception which is Cha based for this act oddly enough.

Ceelell Bendon |

Ceelell accepts the sporting blaster, but raises his hand towards the rifle. "I'm afraid that I am not so skilled with such a weapon. I often have trouble enough with a blaster. I do not relish the thought of taking life, and so I have tried to focus myself away from the more deadly arts."
He draws a fresh energy cell from his utility belt to replace the one in the sporting blaster, sliding it into the holster at his waist.

Aruuna Irdrall |
Aruuna nods in agreement with the droid.
'I'm ready to move out. I'm sure we can figure out a plan later, as we are heading over there. Lucen, can you watch the fight from a distance, then meet up with us again at their ship?'
((And if you guys do move out tonight, she'd follow along. Just making that clear so you don't get delayed tonight on my behalf. :)

Lucen tilts her head to one side and responds, "Of course I can do so. You are far more interesting than anything I might have had planned."

Klonsa, Christy, Groodar, and Ceelell proceed at a steady march toward the crashed Sith ship, while Aruuna, Danguard, and HK-22 proceed at a brisk pace to circle around the wreckage and approach the ship from the opposite direction.
Are you using comm links to coordinate this?
Is there anything special that either group is doing while getting into position?
Also, it looks like, taking 20 on the perception check for the scouting produces a 27 perception check from the front line group, and a 28 for the flanking group.

Ceelell Bendon |

I've got a long-range comlink so I would be keeping in touch with them as well to coordinate. And if Author is going with us, we probably have a higher perception check then that. I'm not sure if he would be staying back at the ship however.
I'd bee keeping my eyes open for anything that looks like it would give a tactical advantage, but otherwise I don't have much else to do. If there is something I might come up with, I don't mind if you roll for me so I wouldn't know if I failed or not. My bonus is a +8.

GameMasterKEJR |

In order to get to the opposite side of the ship to coordinate the pincher move, Aruuna, HK-22, and Danguard need to make a DC 10 Endurance check to see if they suffer any penalty from the jog around to the other side.
If they fail, they are still in position, but they cannot move more than one move action per round, and they move one persistent step down the condition track.
When you take up position at the point at which you can see the ship and the droids, you are about 75 meters (50 squares) out from the ship. Two of the large droids face the main group, and one faces the far side flanking group. The droids do not seem to be aware of you at this point in time.
At this point in time, due to where the droids are, they have cover from any attacks against them due to the edge of the crashed ship. There are about five mounds of wreckage a little less than 30 meters (20 squares) from the ship on the "front" of the wreckage, and about two more mounds on the "flanking" side of the ship, about the same distance away.
As Ceelell has let everyone know, the shieldleaf plants create rough terrain unless you use either acrobatics or a swift action and perception to plot a course through them, and you can use a move action to prop them up for cover, and you can pick them up as a move action to use them as a makeshift riot shield.
The transceiver port that you noticed in the holovid is on the "front" side of the ship as well.
Let me know how everyone wants to proceed at this point.

Aruuna Irdrall |
Aruuna focuses on the force, helping it flow through her muscles, rejuvenating her as she jogs into position.
Endurance Roll (with Force Point spent) = 1+2 = 3
Clearly though, the Force has other things on it's mind.
Upon reaching a safe point, she waits a moment, panting for breath and cursing in Ryl about how out of shape she is after a 300 year slumber. She does, however, wait in position until she knows everyone else is ready.

Danguard Troy |

Klonsa, Christy, Groodar, and Ceelell proceed at a steady march toward the crashed Sith ship, while Aruuna, Danguard, and HK-22 proceed at a brisk pace to circle around the wreckage and approach the ship from the opposite direction.

I do have access to a comlink if no one else has one on flank team, but our Twi'lek seems to have it covered.
HK-22 I think is immune to that for being a droid correct? I don't think he is susceptible to fatigue. I thought I read that anyway, I'm scanning now.

Danguard Troy |

Not sure how Endurance checks work for droids, but here's an unmodified d20 roll: 1d20=8
If I get to add my Strength to that, it's a +2 to the roll.
ya...I could of sworn I read in the sage books somewhere that droids aren't going to tire as they are droids, but I'll be darned if I can find it again.

GameMasterKEJR |

Okay, I reversed a ruling that I posted, then deleted, because it made sense in a vacuum . . .
Droids have no means of determining how long they can run before they are actually tired, so even if they could get winded, there is no way to determine how they would push themselves too far, so, by default, until I read otherwise, no, you do not have to worry about making the check.
Also, as a side note, droids do not get to add strength to constitution based skill checks, as per the errata, only their fortitude defense. Its a rough life being a droid.
Aruuna, since you missed your check, you can opt to rest for 11 rounds, but the droids do have a chance to spot all of you for each of those 11 rounds. You can still attempt stealth checks to hide for each round even while resting, however.

Danguard Troy |

Aruuna would wait for Danguard and HK to arrive, and for the main group to get into position before deciding what to do.
Danguard made his checks, so would actually offer to carry the Twi'Lek if needed. I'm betting your petite enough that it may not encumber me...maybe, but i do make the offer.

GameMasterKEJR |

So, after Aruuna leaps into Danguard's steely grip and jogs the rest of the trip to the opposite position that has been scouted out, both teams are about 75 meters (50 squares) from the droids, and ready to do whatever the teams wish to do next, be it start a long range bombardment are starting to move in towards the ships to get closer.
Let me know how you want to proceed. With your comm links, its pretty easy for you to coordinate with the other team.

Danguard Troy |

Danguard scoops up the Twi'Lek without any remark or any judgmental looks. He places one hand behind her supporting her back and the other behind her knees, and carries her the rest of the way in front of him. He notices the look and says, hoping to lighten the situation:
"I don't know of many that can keep up with a droid as I can, it is no fault of your own. This is one of those skills I possess that make me unique. I'm sure when it comes time to actually dispatching these droids however, I will be leaning on you for support."
Encumbrance

Aruuna Irdrall |
Has being carried eliminated the condition track penalty, GM?
She stubbornly refuses to look at Danguard, even after his comforting words, preferring instead to keep her embarrassment to herself. She instead flicks on her commlink.
'Groodar, Klonsa, Christy, Ceelell. You guys there and in position yet? Also, we're designating you as 'Blue Team'. We're 'Red Team'. Going to use those names just incase any of the droids are listening in.'

Klonsa |

Klonsa takes one of the shieldleaf plants and holds it in front of him like a riot shield. He then scans the area in preparation for his run towards the droids hoping to find a safe path.
Perception check if needed 17 to find a faster path. If I can I will actually grab 2 shieldleaf plants one in each hand so when one gets used up I can throw the other in front of me.
"I'm ready to go, just say the word."

"Not a bad idea." Christy also tries to equip a makeshift riot shield. "If these can live in the storms, hopefully they can hold up to a blaster shot or two."

Are these rifles the droids had scoped?
Reading imaginary directions on the rifle Christy says: "Put the pointy end in line with droid and fire. Sounds easy enough."

For Everyone--How the Shields Work:
Any round in which you fight defensively, while you are carrying the shield, you can add a +5 cover bonus to your reflex defense.
Unlike a "real" riot shield, shieldleaf plants do not work as stun batons, but as clubs, if used as a melee weapon.
Unless combat lasts an extraordinarily long time, one sheildleaf should be enough to use as a shield without worrying about it falling apart.
