Back in 1996 I saw a pizza vending machine in Northbrook Illinois. The idea sickened me. All I could think of was how long the cheese and bread must stay in the thing.

Based on the story, the dough is mead fresh. The cheese is most likely refridgerated, just like at any pizza place.
If they're like the Big Azz Burger machines, they're refrigerated to 40 degrees, which gives you about a three day "safety" window for storage. Well, at least according to the Texas Food Service Safety course, your state may have different standards.

Pretty soon pizza will likely be available in intravenous boosters to save time on all that troublesome chewing and swallowing.
I'm sure it's available in other cities, but here in New York there's an entire restaurant full of vending machine entrees, like macaroni and cheese and curly fries and stuff. Never tried it myself.

Actually no, they aren't. He walked out on the day my wife was born as a matter of fact. Of course once we had kids he decided he wanted to be a part of his daughters life, but that a story for another thread.
