Since there has been no clear agenda announced for President Obama's speech tonight, what do you expect to hear him say?
President Obama will throw his full support behind the Pathfinder RPG, stating his belief that it will help with the economy's recovery and the world's energy crisis.

I found the notes for tonight's speech in the bushes an hour ago.

Get him away from his teleprompter, and Obama has foot-in-mouth disease just as badly as Bush ever had.
Granted, Obama is light years better with a prepared speech than Bush was, but off the cuff, he's just as idiotic at times.

It's almost like you read Maureen Dowd's piece last week. Of course Christopher Buckley is more to the point, and when Democrats like Dick Morris start asking does Obama know what he's doing, you know things are getting bad.

I don't read Dowd.
She failed to mention in the article you linked that Obama was the #2 recipient of campaign donations from AIG, #1 being Chris Dodd.
And using "reluctantly" do describe Geithner's actions is disingenuous at best.
Typical one-sided Dowd hack piece.
Also, take Dick Morris with a grain of salt. He is accurate, but he does have an agenda, and he is unapologetic in his criticism of all things Obama.

Yeah, but you have to admit her openning line was priceless, and hit the nail right on the head.
Edit: The headline on Realclearpolitics.com was the best. It reads "Tough Talk from a Teleprompter" and when you click on it it takes you to the Dowd piece.
