Welcome to the Sorrynese Royal Navy
You sorry lot are about to experience adventure, derring-do, hard work, and all the hardtack you care to eat...whether you like it or not! This here ship is called the Abigail and from now on this is your home, so get used to it.
Let's start with a role-call to make sure that all those assembled have indeed regained consciousness after their recruitment activities.

Kaull looks good. Replace the word tribe with legion in your background and you're golden. Seriously, when I said that the hobgoblins have a military society I wasn't kidding. They are famous for their mercenary legions. They are organized, brutally lawful, and will work for anyone who can afford them.

"...guard wouldn't know quality merchandise if it punched him in the face. Oh, hello everyone. Honest Finial, Purveyor of Fine Goods at your service. Of course, we are sadly out of stock at the moment."
Just checking, does colored water cost anything?
Colored water is totally free.

"Honest" Fineal |

Finreal, one of your fellows ratted you out :) So, I missed it on the first pass-through, but you have 4 more hps than you should.
Well, I thought someone said I should have 28 HP for some reason, then I realized I should have 21 HP, then you someone mentioned Favored Class benefits on the recruitment thread, so yeah. 24 HP it is.
EDIT: While I'm here, any idea of what would actually want his soul and how he'd get approached about it so I could write a better-flowing background.

"Honest" Fineal |

*looks around at his shipmates*
How you?
"Well, I used to feel horrible at times like these, but that's before I started taking Honest Finial's Rejuvenating Elixirs! They heal what ails ya, they heal the side effects of what used to ail ya, they heal what ails you before you you even get sick! You have my personal gaurentee that there are absolutely no side effects unlike those other elixirs you may buy. How much do you expect to pay for this fine product? 50 gold? 60 gold? No, if buy within our limited-time offer, you can get Honest Finial's Rejuvinating Elixir for just 10 GOLD! Place your orders now!"

Quentin Silverhome |

How you?
Well, friend, well. It is a fine day to be headed to sea!
He tilts his head towards Fin and scratches his goatee lightly while absently rattling his too-light coin purse.
I'm afraid I must pass today my friend. With the sun over head and wind in our sails, I cannot imagine either illness or melancholy to befall me and I must hold what coin I have if I am to ever have a beautiful vessel such as this of my own.
However, it is well to know that our crew is home to such a skilled alchemist as yourself. I am sure we all will benefit for it.

Quentin Silverhome |

Quentin gives a polite nod towards Adrick and smiles.
A pleasure to meet you, friend priest. With luck the goddess' blessings will follow our ship wherever they go.
His gaze falls over to Nimm and he raises a brow a bit, as if considering whether to take offense at the comments or not. Finally he allows a grin to slip past his lips.
Aye, but she is a very pretty sword, isn't she?
He touches a hand to the pommel of the blade lovingly and looks around to the others gathered.
Perhaps not the finest lot of sailors I have seen gathered, but if the fine work of the alchemist and the blessings of our brother priest is any indication, there may be other talents that will serve the navy well, beyond simply keeping the rudder steady.
With a small flourish he bows.
Quentin 'Quick' Silverhome at your service. A pleasure to be in service with such a fine lot.

Quentin Silverhome |

Garan, I think you might have been in the night watch group, rather then the high seas one. I think all of our team has reported in except for jonathon shade so far and it put us at 7. I could be wrong though and I don't think any of us would complain about having a tank type on the team.
Quentin grins a bit at Nimm while nodding towards the dwarf. "Indeed. With any luck his sword is as sharp as his tongue."
He steps back just enough to be out of immediate swinging range while jesting jokingly "Don't worry, friend. We'll let you pick of the lower bunks."

Nope, Garan is indeed in this group. The High Seas group has eight and the Night Watch has seven.

"I'm sure my, uh, special abilities will come in handy on this cruise." Fin continues to smile cheekily. "This guy's dumber than he looks."

Sanura Agashti |

She looks around at her fellow shipmates, placing a hand on the head of her companion. The wolf sits down, wagging his tail like a common dog, his tongue hanging out of his mouth as he starts to pant heavily. The poor beast was not used to the ocean air.
She takes a look towards the dwarf, blinking in confusion at his language. She wrinkles her nose slightly, then looks around to the rest of the crew once more. She thinks to herself, well... THIS should be interesting.

Arioch, Kauul can't understand you when you sign because you don't have sign language as one of your languages. Just saying.
*nods to the group*
[dwarven]
** spoiler omitted **"We sail soon?"
[dwarven]
Thank ye, got this here axe outta the gut of a shark. Didn't help the poor BLEEP! whose hand was attached to it, though...
Ok, so we got a group of buddies and a dog going on an adventure to investigate stuff. What is this, Scooby-Doo? JK.

Quentin Silverhome |

"I'm sure my, uh, special abilities will come in handy on this cruise." Fin continues to smile cheekily.
"No doubt, friend, you will be most welcome aboard."
Quentin looks between the Hobgoblin and the Dwarf, not following the conversation but seeing the dwarf motion to his axe. It seems best to salve any hard feelings before boarding the ship, as it certainly will make the trip easier.
"I apologize for the quip, friend dwarf. I mean no insult to you or your kin. I suspect your sword arm is powerful indeed. Perhaps we will have chances to spar in the few quiet moments we may manage while at sea. You may call me Quick, by the way."

Kauul |

Kauul wrote:Arioch, Kauul can't understand you when you sign because you don't have sign language as one of your languages. Just saying.{signs) Sure, I do, you just missed it. (/signs) *grins lopsided*
(signs)Have you been out to sea before, Kauul?(/signs)
(signs) Why yes my friend, I have been to sea before. I was a guard for a supply ship going to...(/sign) *thinks a moment* (signs)Actually, I probably shouldn't say the destination. How have you been since out last meeting Arioch?(/sign)
Why not just move a single skill point into Linguistics so you can speak your native language?

Quentin Silverhome |

Quentin looks around at the various languages being spoken or signed and scratches his head a bit.
"I always considered myself rather well spoken, even if occasionally speaking around a foot. Seems around this lot I will have to pay special attention to brushing up a bit on a few dialects."
He grins a bit and then mumbles to himself in Aquan
Quentin will have to be paying some extra special attention to all the chatter going on around him. I suspect a few points will be dropped into linguistics next level.

Adrick Balasar |

Adrick stands quietly off to the side. He does make it a point of introducing himself to any of the new comers and gives the blessing of Sarenrae to all. After all introductions are made, the cleric begins to explore the ship more importantly the galley. Having high hopes for rare and exoctic ingrediants, Adrick takes a look at what the ship is stocked with for food.

*heads below deck to check and double check the ships inventory*

Nimm Qa'dim |

*Looks around for the rest of the crew and the Cap'n* before jumping up on the rail, grabbing a rope, and swinging down into the water for a quick submersion before swinging back up to the rail again.
"A literate Hobgoblin, a fishman and a sea druid on one ship? Either we're terribly lucky or terribly cursed!" Nimm mutters, before heading off to find the officers on this ship of fools.
