Penny Arcade / PvP Ep1: Series 2

Time for more fun with the Penny Arcade crew

A look at the group:

Mike Krahulik (Gabe from Penny Arcade): Jim Darkmagic of the New Hampshire Darkmagics, Human Wizard

Jerry Holkins (Tycho from Penny Arcade): Omin Dran, CEO of Acquisitions Incorporated

Scott Kurtz (from PvP): Binwin Bronzebottom, Dwarf Fighter

Wil Wheaton: Alwech....-_-... Let's go with "Al", Eladrin Avenger (New Class from PHB2)

Chris Perkins (R&D): Dungeon Master

Acquisitions Incorporated continues their… acquisition incorporating. In the first episode of this latest podcast series, the party joins forces at the Silver Unicorn and finds its way (somehow!) into adventure in the Borderlands….

Goblins have been plaguing the region of Fallcrest, but the local militia seem ill-suited to the task. It seems a job more suited to Acquisitions Inc. to make its way to the goblins' stronghold—a tower (or keep, if you will) somewhere on the Borderlands.

That said, things are already not what they seem. The militia's appointed guide (Sorek) may be able to bring Acquisitions Inc. to the tower, but how much can he be trusted?

Scarab Sages

That was funny. I like the PA games...

Yes I'm afraid I laughed when Wil Wheaton introduced his character and they promptly shortened his character;s name!

Reminded me of another podcast where they remarked how someone tried to portray their character as something unique only for the dm to go,"so its an elf?"!

So I take it this is going to be an ongoing series of podcasts?

It'll probably be like the original podcast and be around 6 or so episodes.

i have to agree, the character creator is the best ever. for any game system. ever.

I agree... it should be used as the standard for other game companies..the only thing I want added is the ability to convert them to PDF.

Just a note, I found something online for free called CutePDF Writer that lets you print them to PDFs without any loss in quality that I can see. You just chose it as the printer so it does not require a separate application or anything. I assume there are other vendors of similar software as well.

So far really good.
