Hello to everybody . I'm new to this messageboard. I'm Italian, so please forgive my bad English .
I just purchased the Pathfinder campaign setting because I started "Rise of the Runelords " with a new group . Everybody think that Golarion is a fantastic world , classic but new at the same time .
I have a question : In the PCS , Classes section , is listed a series of abilities in the beginning of each class .
These abilities are to be added to the abilities of each class ? For example , the cleric gains BAB ad HD like the fighter , in addition to the proficiency with the deity favored weapon ?
Thank you .

The new ability generally replaces something from the character class - what it replaces is noted at the end of the class page. Example: The Poison Master feature for the Rogue replaces Trap Sense.

Hello Pathfinders,
I'm new to the Pathfinder Society (Played through the first 5 Society scenarios in the last couple months and REALLY had a good time.) and just getting started on the PfRPG setting, although I have been playing RPGs for a bit over 25 years now I believe.
I'm wondering if the character options mentioned above are available for characters used in the Pathfinder Society Organized Play game? I have heard that the Pathfinder Core Rules won't be used in the PSOP til after GenCon and was wondering if that same restriction were in place on the modifications available in the Campaign Setting book.
I apologize if this has already been answered in some earlier thread. Tried sifting through, but your messageboard is huge. :-)

At the moment, only stuff in the SRD and that specifically mentioned in the Pathfinder Society Guide is allowed. After August, the system switches from 3.5 to PFRPG and there may be other changes, ot there may not.
EDIT; Welcome to the boards. Lillith, new batch of cookies needed!!!

Thank you kindly. I've been slogging through the Organized Play pdf and the Campaign setting, not to mention bugging the nice guy who ran up to run the last four scenarios for us, and I just couldn't get a definitive answer. We were assuming the non-3.5 stuff would have to wait til after the PfRPG release and the rules change over. -sigh- I can be patient a little longer.
BTW- I am glad that most of the equipment is available because I am having a ball running my Qadiran Fighter with his Earth breaker hammer. -swing- -squish- "Next!"
Keep up the good work Paizo.
Thanks
