Today, I began my Curse of the Crimson Throne AP. This location will serve as a record of the party's journeys in case something should happen to them and they are never heard from again.
The party:
- Maroolat is an Fire Elf Swordsage from Osirion. He spent his childhood as an orphan, but was eventually taken in by a master who trained him in the ways of the swordsage. He has traveled the world since, and recently came to Korvosa, where he was hired by the Guard to track down a criminal named Gaedren Lamm. There was soon a series of assassinations targeting those assigned to Lamm's case, of which Maroolat was the only survivor. The Korvosan guard refused to go after Lamm since, as he wasn't nearly as dangerous before the investigations began. Maroolat was fired.
- Len is a half-elf cleric of Nethys. As a small child, he was abducted from the streets of Korvosa to join Gaedren Lamm's gang of young pickpockets, or "Little Lamms." While on a job, he found a holy symbol of Nethys, which he hid from Gaedren. Lamm soon found it, beat Len badly, and broke the symbol. Len escaped shortly thereafter and joined the temple of Nethys found at the Pantheon of Many.
- Karnak, an Elf Rogue, wants Lamm dead because Gaedren planted false evidence incriminating his brother in a recent murder case. A fisherman was coerced to testify in the trial, then killed before he could have second thoughts and recant. Karnak, looking for revenge, asked around for information on Lamm with no luck, until now . . .
