So, I'm playing around with the new Faces feature in iPhoto, sorting through a handful of photos and teaching the program the names of the people in the pictures. Well, it's truly amazing software, and in less than about ten minutes, the program has sorted and correctly named all 14,989 photos in my collection (well, as far as I can see without actually looking at every single photo).
Here's the cool part. I made that pathfinder video last summer, as some of you might remember, and I still have the stills stored in iPhoto. On a lark I asked the Mac to ID a couple pictures of the Pathfinders (Seoni and Valeros, for example), and would you believe it was able to use the FRS to correctly ID all the remaining stills!
I think that's pretty damn cool.
