John Updike dead

The American novelist, John Updike has passed away.

That's too bad. I never heard of him before now but it is always sad when such a creative mind leaves us.

I read most of the Rabbit books, and the Centaur, and at least saw the film version of The Witches of Eastwick.

RIP Mr. Updike.
