In the "Draw or Sheathe a Weapon" section, it says that this action applies to "weapon-like" objects stored within easy reach. A wand is given as an example.
Now, below, when you have a BAB of +1 or better, you can draw as part of a move action. I read this as still applying to a wand even though the text goes back to just saying weapon because the first paragraph in the section says that this action applies to weapon-like objects and a wand was identified as a weapon-like object. I think that explicitly stating that this applies to weapon-like objects would be helpful though.
My main question though is whether any of this applies to scrolls or not. When "Tomb of Blood" came out, the drawings of the gnome with the bandoleers of scrolls seemed to be there for easy reach. You certainly use scrolls as a weapon. And indeed, most judges (I do a fair amount of organized play, so I've played with a number of different judges) seemed to rule that a scroll qualified as weapon-like and would let you draw one as part of a move action if you had a BAB of +1 or better (though many set a limit of how many you could have within easy reach). Then Wizards came out with some sort of source book that I never bought that had a magic item whose benefit was that you could draw scrolls as a part of a move action. From then on, it seemed that just about all judges ruled that scrolls could not be drawn as part of a move action. It would be nice for the final version of the Pathfinder rules to be clear on this question.
Must judges seemed to rule that potions were not weapon-like in my experience and always made you take a move action for them. Though I could imagine hanging them from a vest like grenades.
My suggestion would be that scrolls should be weapon-like and that you should be able to have a good number within reach by buying mundane bandoleers. I just hate spending a round moving and drawing as my whole action when everybody else is beating on monsters. And the XP and gold cost always seemed like a big enough drawback to me for using scrolls.
Potions? I'm not sure where I stand on that. But it would be nice to have it spelled out in the rules. Same for things like alchemist's fire.
