Yep, and that reason is that Utah got screwed ;)
The last time they were ranked #1, Texas beat them (but that was WAY back in October, so perhaps you, like the voters, forgot about that ;) )

I was thinking Utah, Texas didn't do enough against Ohio State for me to argue their cause anymore ;)
Agreed and agreed. Utah has the true beef. But I hear they're filing a lawsuit, so I'm sure everything will go much better now when we can crown National Champions after suits, appeals, and Supreme Court rulings 12 years after the season was actually played. Go Litigants!

Is 12 years the over/under? ;)

Yeah, we haven't got anything else to spend the tax payers money on then suing the BCS. Speaking as a Utes fan, I would rather not have the national championship then have an asterix next to it.

Apparently the Utah AG is not the only one looking at this issue. Rep. Joe Barton of Texas is sponsoring legislation in Congress to require any team that is proclaimed to be "National Champion" after 2011 to be decided by a playoff.

Hey, maybe we could get someone to pass legislation saying that a movie can't get the "Best Picture" Oscar unless it actually made the most money that year.

After watching last night's game and listening to the commentary I was left with the question Te-who? If Florida's defense hadn't played an amazing game the score could have easily been 38-21 in Oklahoma's favor. I really think that the commentators lost all objectivity during last night's game, esspecially when the declared that Tim Tebow is one of the top ten and maybe on of the top five all time best college players. However, I will commend Florida's defense on an exceptionally well played game.

Ah, but the difference is that colleges take federal money. Therefore Congress has some say over how they operate. It's the same reason that they were able to tell Colleges that they could not ban military recruiters from college campuses.
