Some of you might be familiar with my other campaign thread,
The Sahasra Vedic Campaign
I have also another concept that has been gathering dust that I am looking into exploring, the Ptolus: City by the Spire product by Monte Cook, placed within the confines of the World of Eberron. The histories of these two settings match up very nicely, with Ptolus existing in the days of a unified Empire 1000 or so years before the Last War. Much like the Forgotten Realms Plot for the City of Shade and the Shadovar as returning Netherese Lords concerned with Birthright and "Their Sovereignty", the City of Ptolus could return after running the adventure "The Night of Dissolution", returning the city Chronologically "in phase" in modern Khorvaire, directly outside the Mournlands, just inside Breland. This would naturally cause much upheaval as its citizens include exterminated races of lycanthropes and Dopplegangers, and yet Ptolus will have access to resources and lore not available in modern Khorvaire.
I am sure the Guilds and Clans of modern Eberron setting will be greatly interested in the doings of this city and I can see it engaging in mercantile competition between Ptolus, Sharn and Stormhaven.
Much like the India game, there will be a "prequel" season as a campaign primer, with half of the Party-To-Be assembled of standard D&D players deliberately unfamiliar with the Eberron setting. They will play Ptolus natives and as such will be very well connected with the events to come. Similarly a "6-or 7 shot" adventure with some Eberron Natives will fill out the party to be formed, which will be subjects of a cultural exchange and "World Tour" program, hosted by the Brelish Crown as an outreach to Ptolus. This involves plotlines that transcend the setting, with the creation myths of the World of Ptolus' basis explaining Eberron's separate cosmology from the rest of D&D neatly.
I'll be working on this off and on over the next year before I am ready to run this ... what with Sahasra taking most of my attention.
Any thoughts/suggestions?

Interesting idea. Personally I love both settings. It should`nt be too difficult to incorporate the ancient evils of the Ptolus Setting (trying not to give away too much here). After all, in some ways they are very similar to a pre-exsting, banished menace from the Eberron setting.
Eberron is more magic-based technology friednly than many other settings as well. It shoudn`t be too hard to integrate chaos-tek items with a world that already has elemental power trains and airships.
I have loads of ideas you might be interested in. Just let me mull them over for a while first.
