Fitting Orgrosh back into the Final Battles

Well the members of the Sword are one mission away from completing EomE (General Bagromar) and advancing the final stages to assault Gaping Maw. So my question is where would inserting the Bullywug Lich Orgrosh best serve the adventure? The PC's defeated him in Divided's Ire sending his accursed spirit back to Abyssm.

With many weeks past since that event the Lich has surely reformed and regained a measure of his power (after losing his army of undead and spellbooks). I was thinking assigning him to Bagromar as an aide, though I'm not sure if my group will end up fighting Bagromar at all. I could send him with Major Enderan and the JuJu hit squad giving them some much needed Arcane support. Captain Ulu-thurg could also use a bit of artillery to go along with the pitifully weak defenders outside Wat Dagon.

Perhaps he could hunt the group? That way you could add him to any encounter in which the PCs have it too easy. Also it is a nice echo of HTBM, where the demons were first introduced.

You are not thinking of the right NPC, Luna. He's talking about Orgrosh, the bullywug lich from Into the Maw, and you are talking about Olangru, the bar-lgura from Here There Be Monsters.

It's ok, because I assumed the same thing when I read the title. I think Olangru would make a better recurring encounter in PoD than Orgrosh, honestly. Although Ulu-Thurg would fill a similar role. Personally, I'd just rename Ulu-Thurg to Olangru to give him some continuity.

Yeah that woud be nice except Olangru is now a dretch somewhere even though he nearly TPK'd the SWORD in HTBM.

No Orgrosh is who it has to be.

And yes there were far too many similar named NPC's. Lavinia, Lynnara, Lilianth; Olangru, Orgrosh; Kulublax, Ulu-thurg...

I meant that you could use Orgrosh as a sort of echo of Olangru: another hunter on their trail. But then again, maybe it is a bit much.

Well it seems I might not have the chance to use him afterall. My group seems to have decided they're done making alliances with fiends and are skipping General Bagromar entirely. Which isn't so bad because now he and Tetradarian won't be slaughtering each other and Big D won't be as weakened!

Of course this means I'll be moving Maj. Enderan and his JuJu hit squad into PoD, probably where Ulu-Thurg would've come in after fighting Arendagrost and save monkey boy to help out Gorvash in Wat Dagon. Hmmm??? Maybe I'll change Nulonga to a Cleric and have Orgrosh boosing the incredibly weak ghast archers...
