How many miles is Devil's Elbow?
This information's given on page 15 of the adventure at the start of Part Two, and on the map of Devil's Elbow on page 18.
The island is 18 miles southwest of Riddleport and 2 miles from the coast. The island itself is 5 miles wide.

Ah; yeah. The math for how big a tsunami is depending on how large the trigger event is is CRAZY math. As in, scientists in the real world are still learning how to calculate that. The shape of the sea bed plays a huge role too, and by not bothering to talk about how that looks in the adventure, we leave ourselves a huge variable and basically get to decide how big the tsunami needs to be for story purposes (which were: Big enough to do some damage and be noticed, but not big enough to destroy a city).
