Wow thanks guys I really needed that laugh.

Yeah. Reading the guy's background makes it really impossible to take seriously. He is apparently big with nationalists in Russia, and anti-U.S. types, but I have to seriously question the sanity or motives or both of anyone else who does more than just laugh at it.

In former Soviet Russia, duck uses lure to hunt you.

Are we talking politboro duck, or gulag duck? Because the later is actually a delecately season and skillfully prepared fillet of rat.

From the WSJ articel:

"Prof. Panarin, 50 years old, is not a fringe figure. A former KGB analyst, he is dean of the Russian Foreign Ministry's academy for future diplomats. He is invited to Kremlin receptions, lectures students, publishes books, and appears in the media as an expert on U.S.-Russia relations."

Definitely politburo duck.
Specifically Dzerzhinsky duck, a subspecies noted for its gamey flavor, poisoned spurs, and multiple discredited alternative names.
(Not to be confused with Daffy duck, which is just a greedy little black duck.)
