They're such great archetypes, there'll be characters like them appear for ever, even if the writers aren't Leiber fans. The big bruiser and his weaselly rascal companion are a staple trope.
Having said that, what marks out a Lankhmar homage is that the pair should not be simple-minded and amoral thugs, but be thoughtful and philosophical about what they do, to the point of discussing their situation, even as they are in the middle of it.
And both should be partners; neither is the other's sidekick or cohort.
Other possible appearances;
Conan the Barbarian, Marvel issue 5(?) 'Devil Wings over Shadizar'(?).
A pair of rogues discuss (very politely) how to share their ill-gotten gains, until a certain Cimmerian tires of them and batters them.
They make an unflagged cameo in the current Dark Horse series, too.
Warhammer Monthly: 'Mordheim, City of the Damned',
Ulli and Marquand, hmmm?
How about Sin City? Fat Man and Little Boy? (The two henchmen guarding the car?)
