Info on the Tanglebriar

The Exchange

My group is about to start Rise of the Runelords. One of my players is going to be taking the green path.

In the Campaign Setting there is talk of the druids of Tanglebriar. In the description of Second Darkness, there is a brief mention of Tanglebriar as a demon infested forest.

Is there any more information out there? Anything would be appreciated. Even a general location in Golarion would be helpful.

The Tanglebriar is a demon-infested forest in the the elven land of Kyonin. It was created by Treerazer while the elves were absent from Golarion during the Age of Darkness. Check out the Kyonin chapter of the CS for more info.

There'll be significantly more information on the Tanglebriar in the Gazetteer of Kyonin in Pathfinder #17.

Yup; Pathfinder #17 is gonna be the place to go for info on Tanglebriar.

Suffice to say, druids from Tanglebriar are messed-up. They're all either neutral evil or chaotic neutral; none of them are "society-friendly" and they get along very well with demons. They're not really a good druid circle for PCs to come from, unless they're from a tradition of druids who are trying to reclaim the demon-twisted corruption and revert it back to nature.
