Hey, All!
I took a cue from Tommy Donovan in this thread and created a general Pathfinder Society group on Facebook.
While Tommy's group is specifically for those who play in his area, my idea is for a group for PFS players around the globe. There is also a Pathfinder RPG group for fans of the Pathfinder game and setting.
I haven't posted a logo for the group, as I'm awaiting permission to use the Pathfinder Society logo (just to be safe).
If you're a "Facebooker" please consider joining!
Cheers!

Y'know, I idn't even think about the legalese of the logo. I made the assumption that since we're advertising games that are in one way or another designed to sell more Paizo product that it would be OK. If I'm wrong I will happily take it down and put something in its place.

Yeah...I actually put the logo up, then took it down, because I remembered Gary mentioning something in a discussion of Google themes about still needing to work out the licensing issues for emblematics.
I sent Josh an e-mail asking permission and will see what he has to say. When I find out, I'll let you know. :)

Hi, there, fellow fb'ers!
I'm one of the earlier members of the 'other' Pathfinder fb group you mention (I'm the blue ape in the tiki bar, fyi), and I can definitely anticipate some crossover (Paris being at least one!). I may even mosey on over myself, this weekend.
The art directors (Sarah and Drew) are members of the older group, and neither have objected to the use of the logo, but you're right to ask permission, both for politeness, and to ensure you're legally covered.

Hey, Rob! AN APE IN A TIKI BAR! Of course! I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out what that was. The picture was so small, I thought it might have been a blue genie surrounded by harem girls. (Sorry to go with something so linear.) ;)
As for the logo usage, I know Josh is busy and may still not be feeling well, so if anyone else can let me know the ins and outs of PFS logo usage, please contact me at niverian@gmail.com.

Thanks! It's great to have you in the group! Please feel free to share any thoughts you might have about how we can make the group better. I'm currently posting a list of gaming stores running Society games (which mirrors the thread that Josh started). If you can think of anything else to add, please feel free to share!
