Lehman is goining into bankruptcy and AIG may have trouble with thier bail out.

It's getting scary out there.

I still fiddle with Ameritrade on occasion, but I haven't been really into it since the Tech Crisis--and it was truly a crisis for me. I lost thousands of dollars and have never recovered. I'm only doing well with the Apple stock I bought back in '99 when it was $18 a share.

I play in the Philippine Stock Market, though my exposure is not that big.

The news about the troubles of Lehman Brothers, AIG, Merrill Lynch and others would have an impact on the economy of the world though. I expect the dollar to head South against all other currencies.

No, I think counting you there's at least 4, but I was born in Belguim and grew up in San Diego, so go figure. Ateneo you say, lawful neutral Jesuits, I wonder if I know you ... what year did you graduate high school ?

I actually introduced 2 people at Ateneo to 1 ed.

Funny my great grand father was a justice, and both my grandfathers and my uncle are lawyers.

And funny how Manila in the 80's reminds me of what happened to Korvosa in CotCT.

Do you know the group called SAGA [Society of Adventures, Gamers & Anachronists] ? Pero, they are mostly Lasalistas.

Some of my BEST games, both as a player and deffinitely as a GM have been in the RP.

And I love how people in Cali think a marathon session is like 8 hours when marathon sessions back over there were 3 days, *minimum*.
