She comes from local Government. She advocates some level of Civic responsibility that requires the people to activly Participate in Government (even at local government level).
Certainly she is pedding a dangerous foreign policy where America should be free to kill any terrorist who stands in its way (at home and abroad). A point of view created by a decade of Prophaganda and a trageic loss of life. But it isnt her only message.
THE PROBLEM: Much of America's Problem needs to be fixed at the local Level and not with centralist government. Unemployment, Homelessness, Poverty, inequality, disposession; they all wait for people to work together to achieve improvements.
SOLUTIONS AT THE LOCAL LEVEL: Consider a Local Government process where every act of Government, Law, and Constitution requires the direct and regular approval of every citizen in your local Government electorate.
Consider Walmart being required to have a samll cluster of shopfronts in a "car free" commercial street - A bakery, A Butchers, A Caned goods, where A walmart cluster might service a hundred to two hundred homes in a surrounding suburb rather than as a nexus for two or three towns with bankrup economies.
Consider an obligation to divide up big farms into an assortment of little farms that supply a diverse selection of produce localy to their Walmart. Where Surplus is stockpiled/preserved for emergencies. Where Firewood is a Crop to fuel local electricity generators.
Employers wishing to establish must train and employ localy.

Note: I'm not endorsing anything for or against Sara Palin, only that people educate themselves a little more before jumping into the discussion.
