I see it has David Carradine in it. Now THERE'S a marker for a cheesy swords and sorcery flick for you. Does he ever turn down a bad movie pitched to him?

Oh yeah, and Dark Crystal. Nothing like a sword and sorcery flick that contains nothing but Muppets.

I LOVE the Dark Crystal! The skill put into those Henson monstrosities is incredible.

Anyways, as far as craziest sword-and-sandal flick, I think Masters of the Universe takes the cake. I mean, they plug a synthesizer into a fountain using cobwebs or something, and IT LETS THEM TRAVEL THROUGH TIME. It doesn't get much dumber than that. Not to mention, it has Dolph Lundgren. Anybody seen Silent Trigger? Classic. :D

Scarab Sages

yah...Sword and the Sorcerer...

how many of your players tried to then design a three-bladed sword? grrr..

Hawk the Slayer rates up there too.

That should make my wife happy... or nervous. You never know these days how Hollywood will handle something like that.

I read that and a little voice inside screamed NOOOOOOOOOOOO! I have said that since Hollywood is closed to new ideas in films that I would like to see The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth re-made using modern CGI along with Muppets, even CGI could handle carry it alone, I'm a bit of a purist. Try and give them a Pan's Labyrinth meets Mirror Mask feel. But a sequel? Not feeling that as much.
