who? NASCAR? what's that? j/k
let's see, kyle is an ok driver, but, honestly, i think that he is just willing to be more reckless than others at this point. NASCAR isn't nearly as "maverick" as it was back in the heyday of the 80's, but then, drivers aren't dying or being crippled for life as often either...

Is that what's letting him win so much? I'm all for streaks, but 8 races is crazy. Sure The King had a streak of 13 in one season, but that was a different time. I'd like to see Reutimann or Stewart win sooner or later.

I supported Dale Earnhardt until he died. He is the King of racing; screw Richard Petty. After he die a lot of my interest in NASCAR died as well.
Now I support Tony Stewart.
I like the wilder more temperamental drivers. I'll have to agree with the reckless comment with Kyle Busch, but I honestly think that's part of the appeal as well. Earnhardt and Stewart were/are reckless and temperamental, I don’t think you can be relaxed and meek at those speeds. Sometimes you have to bump and put people into the wall.
Kyle's ok he's not one of the greats or even one of the interesting ones yet in my book.
I'm starting to have more respect for Kasey Kahne than I did before, and the respect I had for little E is dropping, he’s not his dad.

So Kyle Busch, greatest driver ever or no talent hack?
Kyle Busch is the fortunate inheritor of a new auto-maker in the sport that just so happens to correlate it's inauguration to the sport at the same time that the cars got a complete overhaul.
I do not find it a coincidence that last year with the old car, no toyota finished higher than about 30th in points, and this year with the new car they dominate.
Nothing will convince me that Toyota had nothing to do with the design of their car - considering the money they historically put into their sports......hmmmmm they help design a car and they dominate.
Not a big stretch of the imagination if you ask me.

That he did (they've been saying "finally" a lot down here). Better than the crash the other week.

Well he could have done it last year if it hadn't been for Robby Gordon and his attitude. I'm still shocked that he never got penialized for his behavior at Montreal last year.

In previous years, I ran the NASCAR broadcasts for some of our local radio stations. This season, I have not been working at the stations, so I am out of the loop. Who's been doing what? All I know from this season is Smoke's move.
You can always check out Nascar.com for all the latest news. To break down the basics, Kyle Bush is winning everything in sight, Junior's move to Hendrick seems to have been good for him, but not for the rest of the team. A bunch of open wheel drivers came over to drive stock cars and have done a poor job of it. Mike Wallace's daughter is driving in the Truck and Nationwide series, and may be in the Cup series part time starting next year. Everyone wants to know when Dannica Patrick is going to jump ship and drive for NASCAR so that she can bring it out of the stone age. That about sums it up.

I do love me some cars making left hand turn 230mph. I'm Kurt Bush fan, he's not having the best year this year. Kyle is having a good year, but the way they do the points will take any lead he has.
Yeah, but he has 80 bonus points that will only be added in after the chase starts.
