Making a 4 player super party

Off-Topic Discussions

In my gaming group, I am always the evil GM. Now I have been challenged by one of my players. Besides the Core rules, I have really no clue what is in all the other books. The guy challenging me is a real Min/Max guy. So I have come here for some guides.

Challenge: Create a 4 player party, using 3,5 rules. All Wizards 3,5 books are allowed. Create the party at level 1. Level it up to level 6, 11, 16, and 20. Meet the other players party on a battlefield, to see who created the best party.

I could imagine that some rules are added to the battlefield, like a closed area, and disallowing teleporting in and out of the battlefield.

So as I have no time to read all books, what do I really need to read? Which classes, prestigeclasses, items, spells, feats, etc. are winners that I must have in my party? Which combos are winners, both combos on the single character, but also party combos?

I hope I get a lot of directions from all you super players out there.

Thanks

I'd suggest heading over to Wizards Char Ops forums (assuming such things still exist, as I haven't been able to get into their site for months). There you'll find a bewildering plethora of options for optimizing members of pretty much any class or role, along with a few threads at the top that provide links to specific sorts of builds, like maxed-out Sneak Attack / Skirmish builds or Gatling Chain-Trippers or CODzillas.

I was thinking super like comic book supers.

A 10th level Warlock w/ Battlecaster feat, Mithril Fullplate, Ability Focus, Empower SLA, Maximize SLA, Fell Flight and 5d Eldritch Blasts could make a fun 'Flying Zapper.' Fwoosh! Zark! Ka-Pow!

I was thinking either an actual super party, Animal House-style, or something more aking to what was being discussed on the "How Much Would You Pay For A Photo?" thread. (By the way, mine would be myself, China Mieville, Brian Warner, and Dove McHargue in a game run by Erik Mona.)

Thanks, I will try to do that, if it comes up again within the near future. And thanks for the build proposed.
