Arrived in Pryor with AXE underway here's there big ballad "Battles". They were alright.

Then Zebra came out and started with "Tell me what you want" then went into a Zep cover. They were alright.

Steelheart came out with a promo vid playing on the big screens that looked like the singer was flying a jet fighter, but then ended with a long shot after it landed, showing it was a two seater and there was still a pilot in the cockpit after the dude jumped onto the ground. sigh! Then he rode out onto the stage on a harley and went into "Stand up and shout" from the marky mark Rock Star movie. The guy can really belt out the notes! They did a few more songs and then the biggie, "Angel Eyes" then were told to wrap it up, so he asked the audience if they wanted "Blood Pollution" or "We all die young" from RockStar and the people screamed blood pollution!!! Awesome, No more ballads! So that was really cool.

UFO was minus Schenker. Didnt realize that, just assumed he'd be there. I have to get some songs of that band. Wow! There were a few that had excessive bluesy noodling that went for a little too long and on one song the head on top of the Marshall stack fried so the song ended with a bass and drum solo and Phil Mogg says..."so and so on lead guitar. silent but deadly!" HA! He was snarky like Johnny Rotten with comments about an energy drink he had onstage "Crunk" where it was 'having no effect, he would get back to us later' and thanking the large breasted women for inspiring the band to play better and saying 'sometimes as you get older you need stretchy trousers.' Weird.

Then ACE Frehley! The venue had a 'photo walkway' thing set up where you and about 15 others could go get in the front row for a couple minutes and take pix/vid, and were then escorted back away from the stage. We went down during the sound check and got to be there for almost the entire first song "Rip It Out"! He talked pretty negatively about 'his old band', but he had a drummer who sounded a lot like Paul. They did "into the Void", "Deuce", "Shock Me", "Parasite", "Rocket ride", "Rock Soldiers", "Snow Blind", "New York Groove", "Love Theme from Kiss", "Love Gun", "Shout it out Loud", "I Want You", he did the smoking guitar solo thing, which was pretty cool, and ended with "Cold Gin" and outro'd with the guitar part from Alive II when him and Paul would be on one riser and Gene would be on the other out over the audience and ended with pyro! really really cool! Got some pix of that.

Tried the sound check sneak for Tesla and they came on to "Comin atcha Live" and we got only stay about 30 seconds before they told us to move on. I had video going on my phone, but closed the case before hitting 'save' so that got lost, but I grabbed about 40 secs of the ending of that song and another 40 secs of "lil Suzy". He can still sing all those notes too. They did "Edisons Medicine" "Signs" and ended with "Modern Day Cowboy" which was great!

Didnt even try to go down front for Geoff and the boys. Here's the opening bit. They didnt go on till 1115 (like 45 mins after Tesla left stage). The crowd had pressed in behind us and I was afraid they wouldnt let us back to our seats...oh well. Two people in front of us left after Tesla, so we moved up to the barricade and had an unobstructed view. They did the whole Mindcrime disc in a play form with the original female singer onstage as Mary and with screens showing cartoon parts for the nurse saying 'perhaps you need another shot, you bastard!' and live action movies for the part 'kill her, thats all you have to do, and get the priest as well'. They added a bit where Sister Mary gets a phone call from Dr X and he tells her to put the gun in her mouth and shoot herself? and added a short song in there too (after Electric Requiem/drum solo)?? Geoff/Nikki burns the body and sings "I dont believe in love" which was amazing! They went away about 1215 or so and came back with "Walk in the Shadows" "Empire" "Take Hold of the Flame" AWESOME!!! "Jet City Woman" and asked if we wanted one more "YEAAAAAH!" So then I said "Queen of the Reich, gotta be" because we saw them loading pyro on the roof during UFOs set and knew there would be some s**~ shot into the air...can you guess yet?
