I think this is perhaps a shoe-in product, but I can't for the life of me understand why this hasn't been created in this line. I would like to see pop out objects that will enhance the existing Map Packs. Why a church map came with blood on it in the Cathedral Flip Mat is beyond me. I would have preferred it had been an object I could lay down on a map, and not something that is built in to a map. So it goes that I propose the idea of creating an Object Map Pack that includes thematic or standard objects from which we can use to spice up our already existing Map Packs or Dungeon Tiles, Galaxy Tiles, etc.
Examples would be as follows:
GameMastery Object Packs: Adventure Gear
GameMastery Object Packs: Dungeon Devices
GameMastery Object Packs: Wizard's Laboratory
GameMastery Object Packs: Battlegrounds
Just want to see if anyone wants to chew on this.
Thanks

Foil eh? As in the bright shiny stuff or perhaps something more transparent. I could go for clear plastic removeable labels any day. I do not hold paper as the final idea.
Another thought is to have an online tutorial for downloading objects and printing them to your own paper, foil or transparent plastic; off your very own printer. Maybe they could charge a PDF chargeable price. I would also not mind paying in something that would pop into my dundjinni, so keep the ideas coming!.
Thanks

We actually toyed around with the idea of doing objects printed on transparent plastic that you could place on the map packs and really liked the idea. However, we couldn't figure out how to get it printed economically. I expect we will keep playing with the idea, because it would be really cool if we could make it work out. So if I can find cheap enough printing, you may yet get your wish!

A set of vehicles on clear backgrounds would be fantastic! I'm thinking rowboats, wagons, covered wagons, carts, horses, chariots... all that stuff that moves around, crashes, gets, hijacked, etc. and doesn't work as well as a static image drawn on a map.
Dungeon decors would also be great. Shrubbery too.
On how to do it, I can think of two examples that have already been done -
Keith Baker's Gloom game is printed on thick plastic transparent cards, and WotC used to make these spell templates printed on clear plastic. They did the same for Force effects for Star Wars. I actually prefer the wire frames for tracking area effects but transparent plastic would be great for map layovers.

It wouldn't need to be on transparent plastic. It could be on cardstock with the transparent areas cut out.

Any prop like this to enhance play would get a big thumbs up from my table.

Yes, I have to agree. As it being an idea I came up with, I can firmly say it was used many times in other products. For some reason, it really hasn't been fully envisioned as it should be. I firmly believe that this is a very exploitable niche. I own about 3 copies of every dungeon tile made by WotC including Galaxy Tiles for SW and the recent 4.0 DU1 Dungeon Tiles. The tiles look great from a functionary stance, but they really need objects to liven it up. I am actually not too big on the idea of plastic adhesives because they would get "furry" and dirty after awhile and plain bend back like a shrinky dink. However, I do feel they would make excellent static overlays to the otherwise vacant look of some Dungeon Tiles. I could go for some plastic blood where it is appropriate. I could go for some overlays to cover up existing blood and bones (that should not have been in the church or cave in the first place). I would love to have moveable objects on card stock such as horses, chariots, wagons, animals, rowboats, spell effects, treasure chests, equipment, etc. It would be wonderful. And no one, I mean no one, would say this is a bad product. Overlays or cardstock, I would buy a mess of them. Anything! Anything to support this initiative to make the game more engaging. Please help us!
Cheers,
