One of my best loved characters was a male human necromancer I played (2e) all the way from 1st to 16th, I even converted him to 3e at one point. He was LN to start with, but end up as LE.

The baatezu finally lost the war, dragged from their lawful perch by I think we can guess which chaotic tanar'ri, who had successfully infiltrated the baatezu ranks.
Any claims by the Yugoloths to have responsibility for the fall of the baatezu race are, of course, the usual Yugoloth attempts to make themselves look important (whether factually true or 'just' another 'loth mind-game).

Well, I've read the 4E alignment info... and all things considered, in 4E, the Evil alignment is the new Lawful Evil.

If anything, we should be offering the Yugoloths their condolences.

They've had "Pure Evil" taken away and been reshuffled wholesale into the Chao Evil side. Well... at least they still have each other. Poor Succubus had to go over to the devil side all by herself. Hell's a big scary place to go start working for, with no familiar faces around.

At least she's always been good at making new friends.

The new alignments are too black-and-white! I can't take it anymore! Did Wizards give into complaints? It would seem so!
