I have also been instructed to advise you to see 'Welcome to Dong Mak Gol', also starring Hye-jeong Kang.
As is usual with these films, I always come in half-way through, but the half I saw was very enjoyable.

I'd draw the line at 'Audition', though...
First, you must have an awesome girlfriend. Second, yeah, "Audition" is a rough film; and I don't even think I saw the unedited version.
But if your idea of "tragedy" only comes from Shakespeare, the Greeks have a thing or two to tell you about it. And this film, to my mind, captures that level of darkness like few I've ever seen.

Sorry; I thought I'd told you...(whoops).
It must have been the week you missed.
August 30th.
Send us a mail to confirm your address, as I've realised I only have your old one. And your telephone numbers, as my old phone and SIM are a goner (I've swapped network, replaced my phone & kept my old number).

I'm on my work pc at the minute - I'll send it when I'm 'at home' so to speak. I've replied to 'our' thread by the way. Now go to bed! I am!

I liked Lady Vengeance better. Old Boy was still good, but it reminded me too much of a toned down "Ichi the Killer". The unedited version of Ichi is ... well lets just say a film that starts off with the anti-hero's semen dripping off of a household plant of a girl he was perving over...and then when another girls nipples were cut off...well, Old Boy seemed like it was edited for TV to me.
