Finding a PFS game while traveling...

Next week I'll be traveling to Ventura, CA for a few days while my wife is attending a conference.

Which got me to thinking - is there an easy way to search (perhaps on Warhorn?) for PFS games happening somewhere I'm traveling to? Either regular games at a game store or local gaming conventions?

Specifically for next week I'll be in Ventura from Thursday to Sunday (may also head down to LA on one or more of those days).

Why not use the tool on the Paizo Site?
GO to "Pathfinder Society" -> "Events", enter the ZIP Code of the location and you should see all Events happening.

Especially since they fixed it and it actually works now!

Not all games are always listed - but indeed - the tool here should be a first step.

Alternatives:
Check with the local VC where you want to travel to
Post in the Grand Lodge - but add the place you look for a game in the thread title

I actually did exactly that - asking here on the boards for a game in Conneticut or Boston - at that time there wasn't a VC and I didn't find a game advertised - but someone here stepped up and organized one specifically for my visit.

Yes - Deathboy - I'm talking about you. He is now a VL. But he wasn't then and contacting him via the VC/VL list wouldn't have worked.
