Not only that, but should the drow really be restricted primarily to demon worship? You try to tell me that the Elder Elemental God is not an Old One or Outer God and I'll just chuckle.
Also, them drow sure do like their tentacles... ^.^
Finally: what is up with that lady's ears? Are those spikes giant ornaments or actually part of her?
As with any race... individual drow are free to chose their own deity to worship. But the vast majority of them worship demons. And a fair number of demons DO have tentacles, so that's covered. And we can't use the Elder Elemental Eye anyway; that's owned by Wizards of the Coast. To a certain extent, Rovagug's the "replacement" for the Elder Elemental Eye, though.
Of course, one of the MAIN reasons we don't have lots of Great Old One worshiping drow is the fact that Lovecraft stuff is a potent spice, and it's not to everyone's taste when it comes to fantasy RPG games.
And the things on her ears are earrings and bangles and part of her armor/headdress.

I actually did have a question about that... Are Yig Snake Daddy and Tsathoggua confirmed to be part of the Golarion cosmology? And is Ithaqua going to be explored, or was that a pleasant fever dream?

Mike McArtor wrote:Watch out! I heard that Mearls guy is crazy... someone's likely to end up with an ear getting bitten off!Yes, there are personal friendships that connect our companies.
He he... Team Paizo v Team WotC on American Gladiators would be fun. :D
Uh, Dude, McArtor is a *Bronze Dragon*. Oh I'm sure he'd be all fairplay at first, but as soon as it got hot and heavy in Powerball out comes the line of lightning and cone of repulsion gas. Oh Yah!

Nope, haven't read Storm of the Dead yet. Now, I'm really curious and not a little worried...
The spoiler below lists all the deities that die in the first two Lady Penitent books and in what utterly ridiculous way they died.
Selvetarm: Killed by a mortal with a fancy vorpal sword.
Vhaeraun: Wanted to go to his sister's (Eilistraee) Realm and kill her, but she knew of it and killed him. The whole thing wasn't even properly shown, no epic divine battle or anything. Now Eilistraee has taken over Vhaeraun's worshippers.
Kiaransalee: Some sort of elven high magic was used to erase her name and memory from everyone, so she has no worshippers and her power dwindles.
That last part is by far the worst. What would keep the elves from gathering around in a couple of high magic circles on Evermeet and use that spell a couple of dozen times? Good-bye orc pantheon, drow pantheon, malar, and dwarf pantheon for good measure.
But then again, it's not worse than the way all the other gods died for 4e.
