Oh please, someone needs to slap George™ Lucas™ right about now.
Guess if he loses he'll have to cry himself to sleep on his big bed o' money™
Oh and by the way, George- Joseph Campbell, Buster Crabbe, J.R.R. Tolkien, Leni Riefenstahl and Akira Kurosawa called, they want their stuff back.
LOL! You made me choke on my morning cuppa! :D

Wow...looks like Lucus didnt have this guy under contract when he got him to design and build the stormtrooper suits and paid him $65 a suit as required for the movies...oops!
I guess that Means George Lucus Doesnt own the rights to the suit. I wander if he can make them from Kevlar Plate?
Actually, from what I read, the case has already been decided in Lucas' favor in one court (in california), this is just him "rubbing salt in the wound" by trying to get it enforced in the UK as well. I think Lucas' lawyers are saying that this guy never designed the suits, he just made them.
Either way, its kind of ironic. Lucas loved all the money he made from Star Wars, because it made him independent of the "Hollywood Machine". Now he is that machine (or at least a very big part of it).

I haven't really read up on this case, but I would imagine Lucas isn't just trying to rub his victory in - the defendant is probably located in the UK, so Lucas would need to get the California court's judgment enforced there in order to collect his money.
