This first post is a summary of almost 20 years of role-playing, covering four seperate Star Trek campaigns, three of which were GMed by a friend of mine. I had the pleasure to play in them. We used the FASA Star Trek system, which is still the best. However, my affection for the True20 system and the desire to restart this fun long-standing role-playing tradition in my gaming group caused me to dust off all the old FASA sourcebooks and bring back a Klingon based Star Trek campaign, to be played at irregular intervals, with most of the original gamers.
Here is a summary of events so far--remember this is all based on FASA's Star Trek universe, which was built on what we knew of Star Trek as of 1985-86 or so. Paramount rewrote most of Star Trek canon, but I like ours better.

1/8401 First contact between the Federation and the Empire
1/9500-9600 First war of internal dissension in the Klingon Empire. Krador declares himself Emperor, but is forced to flee with Clan Subaesh after defeat. Establish “Imperial Klingon States” in Triangle.
1/9700 Battle of Donatu V, Klingon & Federation fleets fight to a draw. Neutral Zone established.
2/1200 “Errand of Mercy” Klingon invasion of Federation prevented by lightbulbs. Klingons lose their claim on Sherman’s Planet.
2/1201 House Krenn falls into disfavor as they are opposed to all negotiations with Romulans
2/1300 Klingon-Romulan alliance established
2/1800 IKV Havoc enters service on the Orion frontier
2/1801 IKV Grinder enters service, though no details survive
2/1806 IKV Havoc destroys a humanoid uprising on Ela IV.
2/1807 IKV Havoc manipulates the primitive locals on Ela IV and declare the planet “Havoc’s Rest.” The locals revere the Klingons as messengers from beyond. Within 2 years there are over 10,000 “messengers” on Havoc’s Rest.
2/1901 Cpt. Khalor departs SNG17 at the helm of a brand new D7M battlecruiser, with orders to scout the IKS.
2/1902 Relations between the Empire and neutral states sour as Khalor begins his reign of terror in the triangle.
2/1904 Cpt. Khalor and his yet unnamed cruiser captured by the Leviathian. Khalor makes deal with Clan Krador of the IKS to spare the crew, but use it as a deception to fight their way out of the Krador stronghold, gaining the cruiser the name of Predator.
2/1906 Admiral Kieth, unhappy with Khalor for changing loyalty, even under duress, sends the Predator command staff on another scout mission of the IKS, this time in birds of prey, hoping to never see them again. Predator in drydock for refit.
2/1912 Predator command crew returns from the triangle covered in glory.
2/2001 Predator completes refit to D7M (improved). Khalor and crew reassumes command.
2/2001 Predator squadron of 3 D-7Ms assaults several independent worlds to draw Starfleet away from the IKS invasion fleet now moving through the triangle.
2/2001.10 Khalor succeeds in drawing away Starfleet and fights them in the battle of Rockhaven, in the shallows of the Lomann system.
2/2003 IKS destroyed by the Klingon Invasion fleet. Admiral Krador is killed. Klingon-UFP relations at an all time low. Bakers’ Dozen forms a mutual defense treaty to defend against Klingon aggression. Starfleet helps modernize local defense forces in the Triangle.
2/2003 Admiral Kieth, under pressure due to the fallout from the aggression in the Triangle, orders the Predator to the Romulan frontier, to distance himself from the captain he’s blaming for the battle against the UFP.
2/2004 Kieth returns to SNG17.
2/2005 Predator launches its famed Romulan recon, spreading havoc and confusion on orders from Kieth to retrieve information on Romulan activities.
2/2009 Predator returns to SNG17
2/2009.12 Predator returns to the HomeWorld, covered in glory. A plot to discredit Khalor is discovered. Kieth does not warn Khalor of the Harana/Duras actions, as Kieth is afraid of the liberal clans’ power due to his recent “indiscretions” in the neutral zone. Khalor worms his way out of trouble again by murdering a Communications Officer attached to Fleet HQ in order to gain information.
2/2009.13 Khalor’s executive officer Krenn knifes Kian in the most famous duel in recent Klingon history to end the threat against the Predator captain.
2/2010 Kieth removes Khalor from Expeditionary Forces command and sends the Predator squadron to the Orion frontier to cool its heels.
2/2101 Responding to a Klingon courier distress call, Khalor attacks the Orion merchant fleet, destroying two privateers and hurling a third into the atmosphere of Almeian IV and threatening the population.
2/2101.02 Kieth regrets his idea of sending Khalor back to the Orion frontier and sends Predator to the outer fringes to avoid another war.
2/2103 Predator squadron rescues the 352nd Marine Regiment stranded on Freeport for over six years.
2/2104 Predator claims the Dha Am Zhed system for the Empire.
2/2104-2109 Kinshayan conflict in western fringes. Predator squadron delays the Kinshayan fleet long enough for support to arrive and wipe out the enemy in the battle of Medius.
2/2106 House Kondor established on Dha Am Zhed by Imperial decree.
2/2106 Kumerian assumes command of scout vessel.
2/2106 Colonel Mobli and his men resign from the Imperial Marines, now appointed to the 1st Regiment of House Kondor by Cpt. Khalor.
2/2106.19 IKV Predator destroys the Defiler base on Freeport.
2/2201 Kumerian arrives at Freeport
2/2203 Khalor discovers and conceals D’akar clan involvement in the destruction of a subspace relay station at Adis III.
2/2204 Second Klingon war of Internal dissension begins, with the death of Emperor Kle of House Simparrii.
2/2205 Predator squadron intercepted by Admiral Kang at Epsilon Indi. First Battle of Veska
2/2206 2nd battle of Veska, end of the Second War of Internal Dissension, Predator destroyed, Khalor is killed in action.
2/2207 Lady Kondor gives birth to a son, Khorgos. Scout Captain Kumerian kidnaps a Subaesh governor from his dinner table in an attempt go gain a transfer.
2/2208.01 Kumerian and crew transferred to Romulan sector.
2/2209 Clan Hurric and D’akar support Kieth’s bid for Emperor. Kieth becomes Emperor with support of the council.
2/2209.05 Kieth begins issuing land grants to loyalist and conservative houses. Lady Kondor receives imperial favor and receives all of her husband Khalor’s grants and titles and is made Imperial Governor General of Dha Am Zhed.
2/2302 IKV Raptor enters service.
2/2303.12 Kumerian and crew encounter the USS Defiant adrift in neutral space.
2/2303 Klingons encounter the Saurons, descendants of the human “supermen” of the Eugenics War of Earth, who fled into deep space in 0/9700.
2/2305 Kumerian and crew encounter Romulans on planet Orris, assaulting the Romulan base there.
2/2306 Klingon victory over Saurons at Vergos.
2/2306.l6 Sauron counterattack at Vergos inflicts heavy losses on the Klingons, as the fast, agile Sauron attack fighters swarm the heavier, slower Klingon fleet. Klingon navy begins program to revamp their own fighter forces.
2/2306.10 Klingon-Kzinti first contact by the IKV Raptor.
2/2311 Kumerian assumes command of the destroyer IKV Vandal.
2/2312.01 While patrolling Romulan treaty zone, Kumerian encounters Benton Freeman for the first time.
2/2312.05 Kre of clan Duras negotiates a deal with Kumerian regarding the intelligence Freeman has.
2/2312.18 Klingon/Sauron peace treaty reached.
2/2401 Kumerian marries into the D’akar clan.
2/2402 Vandal departs SNG17 on an escort mission into the Triangle. Lt. Cmdr Lara Hayes assumes command of the USS Arborea.
2/2407 IKV Raptor is reported as lost.
2/2408 Vandal engages the U.S.S. Constellation in a pitched battle until Squadron Leader Kleet arrives.
2/2409 Vandal arrives at Elliat III on secret mission. Kumerian and crew attacked by Orion blockade runner and taken prisoner. Kumerian seizes the blockade runner by force of arms and claims it as a prize.
2/2410 Vandal engages battle cruiser at New Pennsylvania.
2/2510 First Battle of Minos Korva between the UFP and the Cardassians.
2/2511 Second Battle of Minos Korva ends in a draw.
2/2606 Battle of Klach D’Kel Brakt.
2/2611 USS Belleraphon begins Cardassian recon mission
2/2612 IKV Redemption enters service
2/2703 Battle of Thirine fought between the Redemption and the “Red Robed Cult” the cult planet is destroyed.
2/2710 UFP/Cardassian conflict ends
2/2712 USS Belleraphon is reported lost.
2/2801 Karg assumes command of Klingon scout
2/2802 Karg encounters Federation scout ship crashed on Ceraunus II, victim of a strange siren creature worshipped by spear wielding primitives.
The yet unnamed Klingon ship is a K-3 gunboat, crewed by:
