Are the Adventures Canon?

Does the Gazetter/Campaign Setting (and all the other settings related products) assume that RotRL or CotCT have already taken place? What about Crown of the Kobold King or Conquest of the Bloodsworn Veil or ...? Do all the adventures take place "one day after" the setting info is described?

As a general rule, we try to keep all of our adventures (be they modules or adventure paths) open in timeline; they can occur at any time in any order in the world. You could play Curse of the Crimson Throne before Rise of the Runelords, for example, and not have any big weird problems arise (there are a few easter eggs that your players might miss if they play out of order, but that's it).

As a result, the hardcover Campaign Setting does not assume any of the adventures have taken place. As far as I know at this time that's the case, in any event.

The only time an adventure is considered canon is if it follows a previously published adventure—in this case, yeah, we assume the previous adventure took place (and the assumption is that the PCs "won").
