Hi all,
Right now my players are at the end of "the bullywug gambit", they went directly to lavinia's room and killed Drevoraz and Bua Gorg. Chief Lorpt, Lorb Lorb Tub and 10 bullywugs are still alive. What do you think they should do? Flee? Wait for the PC's as detailed in the adventure? I need some ideas.
I have read "City of Broken Idols" and found quite strange that in order to create a skinwalker, you need a Jarilith and a cleric of Demogorgon, but none of them are detailed in the module. Can one of the authors explain this to me?
Thanks!

Whenever my players have killed off the leader of a group I check morale. Most monsters are going to take a hit to morale if they know their leaders are dead. By having the rest flee it deprives the party of some XP and if they are going through encounters too easily thats a good way to keep the party from getting too powerful too fast. On the other hand if the encounter with the leaders was noisy you could have the remaining Bullywugs swarm into the room at this point to avenge their leaders.

The skinwalkers have been on the island for many, many years. They're pretty much established on the isle now. The first Skinwalkers were created by kopru clerics (of which at least one such cleric was already encountered in the campaign in the previous adventure).

Hi all!
thanks a lot for the answers!
About bullywugs, I think I'll make them flee (because no one of them wants to stay at the manor, Bua Gorg was pushing them to do the assault) and let the PC's earn an easy victory.
As for Skinwalkers, I'll include an encounter with one o two jariliths, just for flavor... and some kills jeje it's an awesome monster too good to pass the opportunity to include it!

I had Lorb Lorb Tub and her retinue escape from whence they came. Mostly because my PCs were so badly low on resources (ie. none left and almost single digit hp) that I felt they would be in danger of a TPK if they encountered the huntress.
That and they had started the AP at level 2, and I was trying to find ways to lessen the XP gain for them to be the appropriate level for Sea Wyvern's Wake.
