Fireball's lovely, but there were some old spells back in 2nd ed. that actually created fireworks. Can't remember what issue or product they were in, though . . . Happy 4th of July y'all!

Hope you have the day off. (I have to work, like several other Paizo staff, getting ready for Origins.)
Something I try to do every year: Read the Declaration of Independence. ALOUD.
It's quite a moving experience. Doesn't take too long. Adds a lot to the fireworks later. :-)

I just love watching my brother pretend to cast fireballs, glitter dust, and meteor swarms in the night sky on the 4th. I'm a bit old to do all the hand motions and not feel akward but I do pretend it's just a silent, still, ect. spell:)
And I also know how blessed I am to live in this wonderful country that will let me shoot off 500 grams of fireworks every year...

yesterday since it was raining on the 4th there was no firworks :( sooooooo now on the 5th there were fire work! YAY! BOOOOOM!
My D&D group and I celebrated the 4th of July like we always do.
Well, not quite like we always do. We still played Magic the Gathering and D&D, but this time we also played Guitar Hero 2 and Cranium.
Oh, and we had to do our fireworks a few blocks away because some guy threatened to call the cops on us...because his dog was barking at the fireworks.
