Crossing over Book of Erotic Fantasy into D&D

Other RPGs

Greetings all.

As you can see, my question involves a WoTC product and a rival d20 supplement. However, this is a question for the DMs out there.

For a campaign, I've created a Tantrist Paladin of Sune, with the vow of poverty feat out of the Book of Exalted Deeds. Now, my question is: If I meet all other requirements, can I still go through the Pierced Mystic prestige class out of the Book of Erotic Fantasy, use piercings that cost less than 1GP and not violate my Vow of Poverty? ... Or, Perhaps, would Tattooed Monk out of the Complete Series be a better choice?

Opinions ?

according to a ton of official answers on the VoP feat i would have to say, yes, this violates the ascetic-ness of VoP. tattooed monk would be the better choice the would allow you to keep your VoP without violating the code for Poverty characters.

but in the end, its up to your Dm.
