Age of Worms on OpenRPG

Campaign Journals

Okay, my second attempt at running the Age of Worms on OpenRPG met with rousing success... and who are the valiant adventurers taking part in this venture?

Fin -- Human Monk1
Rose -- Warforged Artificer1
Tosuro -- Halfling Ninja1
Bowen -- Human Ranger1

In the first session Fin, the hero of the story, met up with his compatriots about Diamond lake... Rose the abandoned Warforged (found inside an equally abandoned mining outpost), Tosuro, the surly and drunk ninja/assassin, and Bowen the rouge stranger who has proven himself a great friend.

Fin was on his way back to the flophouse from a night of fighting in the bar-pits only to discover when he got there that his family was missing. Directed by a mysterious entity in Black to search a local tomb known as the Whispering Carin he set off and met up with some of the most colorful local characters he had ever seen. Enetering the tomb, they crossed the path of a broken transportation ring with markings of Elemental air, as well as a pack of hungry wolves which quickly realized the Warforged was not a snack after putting her down.

They took the construct-woman to Allustan the wizard, who had just the spell for the job of pieceing her back together, though it was a bit pricey. They allready plan thier next trip to the Whispering Cairn, and discover just how all the mysteries surrounding it, and themselves are intertwined.

We had our second session the next day, as it was a holiday.
We began where the characters left off: entering the "tomb" with the rainbow colored lanterns. After discovering the hard way that the sarcophogus was empty, they explored a tunnel above the area with the blue lantern only to thier own dismay, as a wind-trap was set off by Bowen and blew the poor halfling ninja Toruso down the hallway to unconsciousness (At this point Bowen left... I think permanently).
They went back to town and had the church of St.Cuthbert heal Toruso, and then went back to the tomb. They discovered that by turning the sarcophogus, they could cause different arcane elevators to appear. After debunking the Indigo hallway's elevator, they prepared to test a theory about the trap in the blue hallway, when the the green hallway collapsed and unleased a swarm of insects.

It was at this point we introduced Ouj, the Human Druid 1.

After a long fight they managed to defeat the bugs (they even tried using the wind trap to kill the things... ingenious Fin), and poor Toruso died. Then we called it a night, with so many unanswered questions.
