"And Madness Followed..." Tie-in?

Shackled City Adventure Path

I just received Dungeon #134. I admit that opening a magazine with the blurb "BEHOLD THE KING IN YELLOW!" made me a little ... hesitant. I'm waiting for something to rise from the lake behind my office building as we speak. =)

I'm considering focusing more detail on Adimarchus' insanity in the middle stages of my SCAP, as I'm worried that my players are going to miss the whole point, which makes Asylum rather anti-climactic.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for easily-insertable adventures to place into the SCAP? I can modify and adapt adventures fairly easily, but my Dungeon collection has quite a few missing numbers in it.

So I guess I shouldn't use that one as part of the Age of Worms then huh? I had been planning some Far Realm goodness due to our diabolus PC, and then this issue shows up in my mailbox with a Far Realm adventure. :P

Ack! Nooooooooooo!

I haven't read the adventure itself yet - just the summary in the ToC. As a fan of the Mythos, I recognized the names immediately, and started thinking of slotting it into my own campaign. If you are looking to throw it in, I can definitely avoid reading it - I'm still laughing at the image of heroes herding glow-in-the-dark beetles!

I'll make you a deal; you send me an email after you get each new Dungeon, letting me know which adventures to avoid, and I'll not read my shiny magazine until after I get the email? =)

Isn't the beetle-herding one different than the one with the Yellow King?

Heh. I don't think we need to go that far. I haven't even read the newest Duneon yet, it just came in the mail the other day. All I've read so far are the comics.

Yes. Whenever I get a Dungeon, I read it in page order, so I am looking over "Home Under the Range" right now. I have this image of a burly fighter in platemail trying to shoo along the scarab beetles while getting pelted with arrows. =0
