Not really anything to say here...but, when I re-upped my sub to Dungeon I noticed that I was getting close to 500 posts. I hit that milestone today...(now at 503). Anyway, thanks mostly to Rogue2 for coming up with the awesome thread of the three word game. That is where at least half of my posts have gone. WOW!

Well, you've hit 500, so you must know what you are doing. I just recently came to these messageboards and have been checking out a lot of the old posts. There are some really great threads out there but I cant seem to find a "introduce yourself" thread. I'd love to know a little about some of these people - how long they've been playing, where they run games, what type of game they run, etc.
Does an "introduce yourself" thread exist? Where can I find it? Advise me, oh master of the 503.

I don't think there is a 'introduce yourself' thread on here. The easiest way to find yer voice is to post around on the 'off topic' threads and the 'amazing stories' threads about movies/tv/music/whatever until you start figuring out what you want to do. Are you running a group of people thru the Age of Worms modules? Then ask questions there. Are you wanting to break into writing for the mags? Then read some of the stuff under those sections (especially the ones that talk about 'black holes'). Are you selling timeshare properties in Florida or Branson mo? Then .... well, I don't know.
The only true advice I can give you is to be sure to reference Ronnie James Dio as much as you can.
Oh yeah, and post on the 'three word game' thread.

I was hoping that I had just missed "introduce yourself"
A lot of the people on these boards have great ideas. It would be nice if there was one thread to get to know more about them and the games they run.
Anyway, I aint gonna be a newbie schmuck and try and start it.
Thanks Nomad.

Why not ? There have been threads about average income, education and even shoe size of dungeon readers, so why not try and start one about the games people on these boards play - but perhaps search the archives prior to it, to make sure there hasn´t been one before.
